Come Ponder With Me
This blog post is intended to be temporary.
Today, I'd like to do something I don't usually do at Skep's Place: real talk. Mostly because I've had an idea floating around in my head for a bit, and I'm curious whether it's the kind of thing that would interest anybody else.
So. Does anybody want to chat? I've been considering setting up a group on a tool called Ponder, which is an updated take on the forum format of yesteryear. Intended for a handful of folks. Invite-only groups, no notifications, no bells and whistles. Can even get an RSS feed for posts so you don't have to log in every day. It looks like this:
Ponder is made by Good Enough, a small team who specializes in easy-to-use, no-frills web tools. I like their ethos.
Anyway, if joining a small community of cool people who like or tolerate Skep's Place for occasional conversation and even more occasional shenanigans sounds like something you might be interested in, shoot me an email—address is on the sidebar of my About page (or at the bottom on mobile). If enough of you want to, perhaps I'll make it happen. And if you're feeling shy: don't worry, me too.
Either way, I don't ever get an opportunity to say this, so I'll do it now: if you've ever stopped in to check out anything I've shared on this site, I appreciate you letting me be me. All my readers are the absolute best, and these past going-on-2-years have been a heck of a lot of fun.
